Tedder Avenue is usually where you go for coffee or dinner. On Sunday 13 September 2026, it had a main stage, a car display and a programme that ran from samba to an ABBA tribute. Away from the stage
The 2026 poster listed a kids zone, roving performers, a car display and an MBPS photobooth. That gave mixed-age groups several things to look for between performances. The programme did not give individual activity times.
Visitors did not need to turn the whole Sunday into a timetable. Breakfast in the apartment and a morning walk to the beach left the afternoon free for Tedder, where the festival began at 1 pm.
Make room for something to eat
Local cafés and restaurants were part of the 2026 day, alongside supporting food trucks. The official food map included Le Jardin Café Restaurant, described as French-inspired, and Thai Eatery, with dine-in and takeaway options.

Walk over, and plan around the closure
The 2026 organiser’s road closure notice covered Tedder Avenue between Hughes Avenue and Cronin Avenue, from 7 am to 9 pm that Sunday, with car park closures beginning at 6 am. Those restrictions have passed and should not be used to plan a later visit.
Guests staying at The Crest could leave the car in its included undercover space and walk to the precinct. The City’s 2026 event listing recommended walking, cycling or public transport.
