Common questions.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Check-out is between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM. If you arrive after reception closes, late check-in is available via a key safe and an SMS code; just let us know your arrival time in advance.
Is late check-out available?
Yes, subject to availability. Fees are $50 to 11 AM, $100 to 12 PM, and $200 to 2 PM. Late checkouts must be prebooked the day prior to departure. Please confirm with reception.
What are reception hours?
Monday to Friday 9 AM to 5 PM, Saturday 9 AM to 12 PM, and Sunday and public holidays 10 AM to 12 PM. Outside those hours, late check-in uses the key safe and an SMS code.
Is parking available?
Yes. Every apartment includes one secure, undercover basement parking space at no extra charge. A limited number of free visitor spaces are available at the front of the building, and free street parking is usually available nearby.
Is there a security deposit?
Yes. A $200 pre-authorisation is taken on a credit card at check-in. Credit card only, Visa or Mastercard (Amex and Diners are not accepted). Cash is not accepted for the deposit.
How often is housekeeping?
Housekeeping is not included in the tariff on a daily basis. We can arrange it on request for an extra charge; just ask at reception.
Are extra beds and children's equipment available?
A rollaway bed with linen is available at $50 per night, subject to availability. Portacots and highchairs can each be hired for $50 per stay. Please confirm and book prior to arrival. Please note: one-bedroom apartments do not have a sofa bed.
Can I request a specific floor or a particular view?
You can ask, and we will do our best, but nothing can be guaranteed at booking. Apartments are individually owned, so finishes and outlooks vary; photography is indicative.
Are the pools heated?
Yes. Both pools are heated and open year-round. The outdoor pool is held at 28°C; the indoor pool is a quiet favourite on cooler days.
Is Wi-Fi included?
Yes. Unlimited Wi-Fi is included in the tariff at no extra charge, throughout the building and in every apartment.
Is The Crest suitable for Schoolies?
No. The Crest does not accept Schoolies bookings. We have a strict no-party policy and quiet hours between 10 PM and 8 AM.
Is smoking or vaping permitted?
No. The property is strictly non-smoking and non-vaping throughout, including balconies and common areas.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not permitted to stay in holiday apartments.
Do you provide airport transfers?
No, The Crest does not operate an airport transfer service. The G:link tram stops 300 m from the front door and connects to Helensvale for Brisbane rail; taxis and rideshare are also widely available.
Is there a restaurant or breakfast on site?
No. The Crest is a self-contained apartment property, so each apartment has its own full kitchen. Tedder Avenue, with cafés, bistros, and wine bars, is a two-minute walk away.
What is the minimum check-in age?
18. At least one guest on the booking must be 18 or over at check-in.
